Use Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Brown Spots

Brown spots are also known as age spots and actually known as lentigines. This spots are commonly experienced by people over 50 years of age with light skin and who is always exposed to the ultraviolet radiation from the sun or tanning beds. They are brown in color because they contain melanin which is a pigmentation found in the top layers of your skin.

Here are some of the things you can do to get rid of brown spots and achieve that clear glowing skin:

1. Using Lemon

You can cut lemon into half and squeeze it applying the juice directly to the spots. The acid present in the lemon will help break down the melanin pigment and thus reduce the appearance of spots within a month or two. You may also combine lemon with sugar to create a natural facial scrub. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into a bowl and add 2 to 4 tablespoon of sugar and slowly turn them into a mixture. Put this on your face in a circular motion and leave it for about half an hour and rinse it well with water.

2. Using Plant Enzymes

Enzymes are the workforce of the biochemical world. It helps break the melanin into colorless smaller parts. Grate a potato and mix it with honey to make a paste and apply it in your face at night. Create a masks using papaya or pineapple. The vitamins present in these fruits are helpful to reduce the appearance of brown spots in your skin.

3. Trying other approaches

You can use dairy products such as yogurt as it also contains acids that can help lighten dark spots. The good bacteria in yogurts may be beneficial as well because they have enzymes that can break down proteins like melanin. You can also experiment mixing ot with herbs. Castor oil can also be helpful to protect your face from dryness as it lightens your face at the same time.  Taking vitamin E is also good for your skin because it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing properties that helps in skin to glow.

4. Check your skin with a dermatologist

It is better to check with the doctor about your skins condition because this brown spots might be a symptom of some skin disease that should be cured by professionals.

Prevention is better than cure that is why it should be a regular practice of all to have a balanced diet and take care of their skin.
