1. Use apple cider vinegar (ACV) to remove the tick and flea from your pet.

Create the ACV solution by mixing 1 quart of warm water, 1 cup of ACV and 1 ounce of Castille soap. Never apply ACG directly to the skin of your pet. Dilute the solution and put it in a container. Cover the whole fur of your pet using the solution protecting the eyes.

Use your fingers to massage the solution all over the skin of your pet. Let it sit for up to 10 minutes and then comb the fur of your pet using a flea comb. Do this all over the body and then check the inner part of the fur for some tick and flea that are still sticking on the flesh of your pet. Once you’re done you can now rinse your pet with clean water. Do this cycle until see no more flea or tick lives in the body of your pet.

2. Get rid of the flea and tick in your home

Always make sure that your home is free from flea and tick because it will be a waste treating your pet against the insects but your house is full of them. Make sure to clean the beddings with warm water at least every other day. Vacuum and clean your carpets and curtains which might be a home for fleas and ticks. You can also try making a natural spray which is composed of ACV, water, lemon juice and witch hazel. Spray this in your house including the areas where your pet usually goes.

3. Prevent future infestation of these insects

Don’t forget to practice step one and two always to prevent tick and fleas living in your home. You may also add ACV in your pet’s drink. It would make the skin of your pet smell like ACV with regular drink and this will make the flea and tick leave its body.
