Having a facial after a tiring day is great for your skin to relax and breathe out the toxins. Some of us have been going to the beauty salon to experience facial braving the long hours in travel and waiting for your turn. In this article, we are going to share simple guidelines you can follow to perform all natural facial at the convenience of your home.

1. Clean your face

Clean your face with a cleanser of your choice. This will remove the make-up and dirt in your face including the sweat.

2. Exfoliate your skin using the following homemade scrub:

For oily skin: mix 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon water
For normal skin: 1 teaspoon ground oatmeal, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon milk
For dry skin: mix 1 teaspoon ground almonds, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon olive oil

After the application of the homemade scrub in your face, gently rub it in circular motion for about a minute and then rinse it off with warm water.

3. Massage your face

Massaging your face helps combat puffiness and wrinkles and relieves stress. You may want to perform the following steps in doing the facial massage in one minute.

• Massage your cheeks with your fingertips using a wide circular motion. Move your fingers up to your nostrils, over your cheekbones and back around.

• Massage your forehead, starting with the temples and moving in toward the center.

• Massage your eye area, starting at the arch of your brow, moving down past the outer corner of your eyes, sweeping under your eyes toward your nose, and back up to your brows.

4. Steam your face

Steaming your face will help open pores for the dirt to come out. Use a small pot of with simmering water and drape your over your head and place your face over the pot, so that the steam hits your face.Do this procedure for three to five minutes, then turn off the heat.

5. Apply a facial mask

This mask will draw the dirt and impurities out of your face. You may want to try the following nourishing facial masks:

• For any type of skin

Use plain honey; it has both moisturizing and antibacterial properties great for any skin.

• For oily skin

Mix 1 teaspoon cosmetic clay and 1 tablespoon honey

• For normal skin

Mix 1 tablespoon yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey

• For dry skin

Mix 1/2 mashed banana and 1 tablespoon honey

Leave this mask on your face for 20-30 minutes to maximize its effect and then rimse it off with warm water.While doing so you can also treat your eyes by putting a cold cucumber slices over them for five minutes. For your lips, you may use a toothbrush or sugar to scrub away dead skin. Apply lip balm when you’re finished.

After doing the steps, start putting toner of your choice in your face. Toning your skin closes your pores, which helps your skin look bright and youthful. Once your face is already dry, the last thing you will do is apply moisturizer on your face. It will keep your skin from drying out, making the effects of your facial last as long as possible.
